The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Tilt Tray Truck Driver to join our team for an immediate start. This is an ongoing temporary opportunity with the potential for permanency for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of various machinery and equipment (e.g., excavators, bobcats, elevated work platforms) to and from client sites, primarily within the Fyshwick and Hume industrial areas, as well as the wider ACT/NSW region as required.

Key DetailsResponsibilities

• Safe operation of a tilt tray truck for the loading, securing, transporting, and unloading of hire equipment.
• Conducting pre-start checks and routine maintenance inspections on the vehicle and equipment.
• Accurate completion of delivery dockets and logbooks.
• Providing excellent customer service during site interactions.
• Adhering to all workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations and company procedures.
• Reporting any equipment defects or incidents promptly.

Essential Requirements

• Current and valid HR (Heavy Rigid) or HC (Heavy Combination) class driver's license.
• Proven experience operating a tilt tray truck.
• Current White Card (General Construction Induction).
• Current Asbestos Awareness Training Certification (ACT specific).
• Current Silica Awareness Training Certification.
• A strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Reliable, punctual, and possess a professional attitude.
• A good understanding of load restraint legislation.
